Synopsis

Brazil FF

Otiti, a talented seamstress working towards a fashion show is plagued by emotional reserve and a general hesitancy around commitment. Her chance meeting with a new customer reveals that she is in fact the abandoned daughter of a wealthy man, and she goes to meet him in search of answers to her life. What she finds is a sick man in a dysfunctional family, helpless and unprepared for his own situation, surrounded by people who wish to inherit his money. She commits herself to help him, but her own healing will depend on the answers to her questions. Themes of loneliness, vulnerability, and family dysfunction pervade the film, but they are lightened by the loyal support of her stepfather and boyfriend, and the possibility of resolution for Otiti herself.
