Synopsis
Here is a heartwarming, wise, and quirky comedy from Ghana, a tale of family, spirit and resilience. When fisherman Atta Oko is forced suddenly into retirement, he teams up with a talking fish to try and continue with his livelihood and save his pride. The result is a journey of infectious joy and laughter, as he and his outsider friends tackle the big city of Accra in his quest to buy his own fishing boat. Combined with empathetic social commentary on the issues of modern Ghana, such as the tension between the values of village and city and the changing roles of women, the result is great entertainment and food for thought.
