Fatima, a young girl of 12 is taken from her mother by armed rebels during a normal day at the market. We see Fatima being subjected to funeral rites by older women(strangers) in preparation to accomplish the work of God. Fatima , this randomly chosen “envoy of God “ is dropped off at the same market from where she was taken, wearing an explosive belt marked 10 minutes to kill the “enemies of God.” We witness Fatima on an internal journey during which she passes from the past to the present. At 1 minute, she finds herself face to face with her mother, both parties helpless. The viewer is left to conclude- Does the bomb go off? Will one of them survive the loss of the other? Is love present in those final moments?
